Kitchen remedies
Keep the area clean, cool and DRY; loose cotton underwear; dry thoroughly after bathing; separate towel; diluted apple-cider vinegar dab; coconut oil; a light dusting of plain or neem-turmeric powder to keep skin dry
Featured herbs
Neem (Azadirachta indica) [antifungal wash/powder], Turmeric (Curcuma longa), Tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) [well diluted], Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), Karanja (Pongamia pinnata) [uncommon, traditional skin oil]
How to prepare
Wash gently, dry the groin folds completely, and keep them airy in loose cotton. Apply a dilute neem or well-diluted tea-tree preparation, or a neem-turmeric dusting to stay dry, twice daily. Do not share towels. Treat any athlete's foot at the same time so it does not re-seed the groin.
Cautions
Topical measures for mild cases only. Always dilute essential oils heavily and patch-test. Keep the area dry - moisture feeds the fungus. Diabetes or a rash that spreads/blisters needs medical care.
