Food-first comfort
(Hygiene) Keep the area clean and dry; separate towels; wash clothes/bedding hot; support skin health with a balanced diet and fluids. Coconut oil may soothe surrounding dry skin.
What to nourish
Balanced immune-supportive diet; curd for gut/skin balance.
Never
Don't rely on food/oils alone to cure ringworm, don't share towels, don't apply steroid creams (worsen fungus). No honey under 1y on broken skin.
Care at home
Ringworm is common and contagious but easily treated with proper antifungals. Home measures reduce spread; they don't replace treatment.
